About the role
Due to continued growth and investment, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced General Quarry Operative & Loading Shovel Operator to join our Team at our Glenfin/Fulfordlees Quarry on a full time and permanent basis. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in quarry operations and operating construction plant, in particular Quarry Loading Shovel.
Hours of work typically involve Monday to Friday working 7.00am – 17.00pm and Saturdays as required.
Good rates of pay, overtime and benefits offered with immediate start available.

Key responsibilities
- Ensure the safe and efficient use of machines
- Ensure daily maintenance checks and records are completed accurately and meticulous housekeeping standards upheld
- Carrying out routine maintenance checks and identifying maintenance needs and operating errors on plant equipmen
Essential
- Must have a valid CPCS card and relevant experience in operating a Loading Shovel
- Experience in mobile plant and general day-to-day quarry operations – crushing / screening
- NVQ Level 2 – Plant Operations

The ideal candidate
- Previous experience in operating construction plant, in particular Quarry Loading Shovel and 360 Excavator
- Other relevant CPCS qualifications are advantageous
- A full, clean, UK driving licence is advantageous
