About the role
Due to continued growth and investment, we have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Loading Shovel Operative to join our Team at our Fulfordlees site Berwickshire Scotland.
As a member of MGL Group, you will be committed to ensuring safe working conditions and adherence with all company principles, procedures, and regulations relevant to your role.
Various shift patterns will be required which will include weekends and both day and night working. Good rates of pay, regular overtime and benefits offered with immediate start available.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
What we are looking for
- Must have relevant experience in operating a Forklift
- Operate bagging machines and associated equipment
- Ensure safe and efficient operations while maintaining high-quality standards
- Assist in off-loading raw materials and maintain good housekeeping standards
- Liaise with drivers and visitors to ensure site rules are observed
- Must hold a full, clean UK Driving licence
- Good Communication skills
- Flexible to allow varied work patterns to meet the needs of the business
- Strong commitment towards safe working practices
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Operate as part of the team, harnessing a working environment which encourages teamwork
- Self-motivated – improvement orientated with a desire to undertake any other relevant training deemed necessary to enhance performance
