About the Role
Due to continued growth and investment, we have a new and exciting opportunity for an Asphalt Plant Operative to join our Team at our Newburn, Newcastle Site Riversdale Court (NE15 8SG) on a full time and permanent basis.
Various shift patterns will be required, which could include weekends and both day and night working. Good rates of pay, regular overtime and benefits are offered with immediate start available. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities/Experience
- Experience in Mobile Plant operations (Advantageous)
- Must hold a full, clean UK Driving licence
- Having a valid CPCS Card and relevant experience in operating a Loading Shovel is advantageous
- Other relevant CPCS qualifications are advantageous
- Other relevant Asphalt Operations experience advantageous, e.g., Maintenance, Weighbridge and Logistics
- Ensure daily maintenance checks and records are completed accurately and meticulous housekeeping standards upheld
- Good Communication skills
- Flexible to allow varied work patterns to meet the needs of the business
- Strong commitment towards safe working practices
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Operate as part of the team, harnessing a working environment which encourages teamwork
- Self-motivated – improvement orientated with a desire to undertake any other relevant training deemed necessary to enhance performance
