About the role
Due to continued growth and investment, we have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Articulated Dump Driver/Shovel Driver to join our team at Glenfin Quarry in the Scottish Borders on a full time and permanent basis.
As a member of MGL Group, you will be committed to ensuring safe working conditions and adherence with all company principles, procedures, and regulations relevant to your role
Various shift patterns will be required which will include weekends and both day and night working. Good rates of pay, regular overtime and benefits offered with immediate start available.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.

- Must have relevant experience
- Relevant Qualifications
- Operation of Shovel Vehicles and Machinery
- Operational of large-scale Agricultural type plant
- Must hold a full, clean UK Driving licence
- Ensure daily maintenance checks and records are completed accurately and meticulous housekeeping standards upheld
- Good Communication skills
- Flexible to allow varied work patterns to meet the needs of the business
- Strong commitment towards safe working practices
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Operate as part of the team, harnessing a working environment which encourages teamwork
- Self-motivated – improvement orientated with a desire to undertake any other relevant training deemed necessary to enhance performance
