Team members from MGL Group recently participated in the Built Environment Careers Fair at Northumbria University. Our Social Value Manager, Greg Chapman, and Quantity Surveyor, Megan Lambert, engaged with students to promote a wide range of opportunities in the construction industry.
Megan, a proud member of the CECA North East Foundations Group, shared her personal journey to highlight the diverse and rewarding career paths in civil engineering. Her passion for inspiring the next generation was evident as she discussed her involvement in complex projects and her career highlights, which included winning the Trainee Quantity Surveyor category at the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA) Awards 2022 when she was an apprentice.
The event was a success and showcased our commitment to nurturing future talent and promoting the construction sector. We are proud to have inspired students to consider careers in this dynamic and exciting field.
