Team MGL Empowers Young Talent at Lord Lawson of Beamish Academy

MGL Group is proud to continue its partnership with Lord Lawson of Beamish Academy, supporting the school’s careers programme.

This week, our social value team collaborated with the careers team to organise over 220 mock interviews for students. Representatives from across our organisation joined forces with other local businesses to provide students with interview experience to boost their confidence and prepare them for future job applications.

During the session, students had the opportunity to practice their communication skills, receive constructive feedback from industry professionals, gain a deeper understanding of the recruitment process, and learn how to present themselves professionally.

The positive feedback from both students and staff highlights the success of this initiative. By providing practical skills and knowledge, we aim to equip students with the tools they need to succeed in the workplace.
