Rainton Construction Enables Progress at SeAH Wind Monopile Facility

Rainton Construction is proud to announce the successful completion of Phase 2 Reinforced Concrete works at the SeAH Wind Monopile Facility, a significant milestone in the construction of the world’s largest monopile factory at Teesworks.

As part of the project delivery team, we have played a key role in the development of this state-of-the-art facility, undertaking an extensive civil engineering package and playing an integral role in site operations . This achievement underscores our commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable services.

The principal contractor, K2 Construction Management, is developing the 800-metre monopile factory, which will create 750 direct jobs and 1,500 indirect jobs.

Work on site is ongoing; we are proud to be part of this highly complex and ambitious project. SeAH Wind’s facility will be one of the world’s largest, supporting the UK’s goal of decarbonising its electricity supply
