Portobello Trade Park

This development came forward in 2014 to meet the high demand for Grade A Industrial Space within the region. It is excellently located adjacent to the A1(M) on a 6.5 acre site which over 80,000 vehicles pass each day.

The development provides 15 high quality light industrial units specifically for SMEs, ranging in size from 195 sq m (2,100 sq ft) to 2,137 sq m (23,000 sq ft) and provides a much-needed facility for both growing companies and prospective inward investors moving to the region.

Robertson Construction was appointed to build the trade park following a competitive tender and over 200 jobs were created during the construction phase. We also engaged with a number of other local firms to assist in delivering the scheme including In Architecture, Artis Consulting and joint letting agents Naylors Chartered Surveyors and HTA Real Estate.

Completed in October 2015, current tenants include Howdens, Connection Flooring, All Seasons Leisure, Northern Building Plastics and Complete Office Solutions.
