MGL Group's Festive Commitment to Local Communities

As a family business, we are dedicated to supporting local communities. From the Scottish Borders to Tees Valley, we are making a positive impact through various festive initiatives.

This year, our annual Senior Citizens Christmas Lunch at Sherburn Community Centre brought together 110 local residents for an afternoon of fun and friendship. In Newcastle and County Durham, we have donated to food banks, ensuring that those in need have access to essential supplies. We also supported refugee families by providing toys and toiletries.

Our efforts extend to children and young people in need across our region. In Cramlington, we provided toys for those with disabilities and special educational needs. In Sunderland, we delivered gift cards. In County Durham, we gave presents to cared-for children, and in Redcar and Cleveland, we provided gifts for care leavers, as well as toys, books, and games. A special thank you to David Thornton of Shark Construction and AM Recruitment Ltd, who donated towards our gifts for vulnerable children in County Durham and Teesside.

In Longhoughton and Cockburnspath, we are sponsoring various events for all ages and donating party bags and selection boxes, helping local people come together to enjoy the festivities.
