Exciting news! Our very own Ellie Fraser, Quantity Surveyor at MGL Group, has been appointed Co-Vice Chair of the Generation for Change (G4C) Tees Valley Committee!
This is a significant achievement, recognising Ellie’s dedication and leadership within the industry. G4C, a part of Constructing Excellence, empowers emerging talent to drive positive change in the built environment sector.
Ellie brings a wealth of experience to her new role. A former CECA award-winning apprentice and a valued member of our quantity surveying team, she has been an active G4C committee member for three years. This deep understanding of the industry’s challenges and opportunities, especially for the next generation, makes her an ideal leader.
As Co-Vice Chair, Ellie will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of construction in the North East, championing young professionals and driving impactful change within the sector.

Having been part of G4C Tees Valley for three years, I have developed a deep understanding of the group’s mission and its impact on the local construction industry. During this time, I’ve contributed to numerous successful events and initiatives, engaging both industry professionals and aspiring talent. These experiences have broadened my perspective and solidified my commitment to supporting the group’s goals. Taking on the role of Vice Chair will be invaluable, allowing me to further develop my leadership and organisational skills while making a meaningful impact on industry young professionals. I am eager to promote stronger connections within the sector, leverage my experience in digitalisation, inspire the next generation by sharing my own experiences with G4C Tees Valley members. In addition, I am excited to help G4C Tees Valley grow its reach across Teesside in advancing our industry’s needs and growing talent.
