MGL Group has partnered with UTC South Durham in Newton Aycliffe to deliver an informative session of mock interviews to 14 students from years 11 and 13. The school, which caters to pupils aged 14 to 18, provides a STEM-focused curriculum, integrating STEM subjects throughout GCSE, A Level, and T Level, strengthening pathways into the industry.
Our Social Value Manager, Greg Chapman, visited the school and worked with the students, helping them to gain practical interview skills while developing their understanding of the interview process. After each session, Greg provided each pupil with constructive feedback, tailored to their unique strengths and areas for improvement. He was impressed with everyone who attended, they were highly engaged throughout, providing well-thought-out answers.
We are dedicated to supporting our local community, and by conducting interview sessions with young people from across the North East, we are helping to create stronger pathways into employment for future generations.
