MGL Group recently extended its support to the personnel and families stationed at RAF Boulmer and those who have served by contributing to a fundraising event organised by the RAF Benevolent Fund. We were honoured to donate £500 and a hamper to aid the charity’s fundraising efforts.
The RAF Benevolent Fund is a leading welfare charity that provides crucial support to serving and former Royal Air Force personnel and their families. Their comprehensive assistance includes essential financial aid, vital emotional support, and practical help to navigate challenging times.
Our quarry is located near Longhoughton, and we have close ties to the local community. We understand that the funds raised through events directly contribute to initiatives that make a real difference. At RAF Boulmer, this includes supporting valuable resources such as The Beacon Soft Play, Airplay sessions for children, and the Bumps and Babies group, all of which provide a vital network and support system for military families.
