MGL Group Empowers Young People to Kick-Start Their Careers at Careers Event

Representatives from MGL Group had a fantastic day at the Newcastle Careers Fair, My Future: My Choice, held at St James’ Park. The event was attended by thousands, including sixth-formers, college students, and parents.

Team MGL joined other local exhibitors who were on hand to provide more information about the opportunities available in the Nort East. This was one of several events we attended as part of National Apprenticeship Week.

Year 10 and Year 11 pupils attended the daytime sessions with their schools, giving them the opportunity to meet a variety of employers and education providers, understand the opportunities available and gain a greater understanding of the wider skills and experiences needed for employment.

The event also featured a dedicated zone for young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), with support organisations offering advice on education and training, volunteering opportunities, and supported internships to help young people and their families prepare for adulthood.

We are proud to have been part of such an inspiring event, helping to shape the future of our region’s young talent.
