MGL Group is pleased to announce the successful completion of another Hazigrip scheme in partnership with Durham County Council. Following a successful trial in Ferryhill, Rainton Construction has laid our innovative surfacing solution in Murton.
Hazigrip, produced by Tynedale Roadstone at our Barton asphalt production facility, enhances road safety by alerting drivers to junctions and skid-prone areas. Its superior skid resistance, due to its high Polished Stone Value (PSV), provides enhanced safety for all road users.
By providing a clear visual warning, Hazigrip helps to reduce the risk of accidents, particularly in high-risk areas. We’re delighted to see this innovative material being used to improve road safety within our local community.
