Championing Mental Health at MGL Group

At MGL Group, we prioritise our employees’ mental health and wellbeing. Our team breakfast initiatives on World Mental Health Day provided a space for open conversations and support. This year’s theme focuses on workplace mental health.

As winners of the People & Culture category of the Constructing Excellence in the North East Awards, we’re committed to creating a safe and inclusive workplace. We proudly support the Lighthouse Charity, which offers free 24/7 support for the construction industry.

Our health and wellbeing programme encourages open discussions and provides resources to continue the conversation about mental health. Our branded biscuits feature the Lighthouse Charity helpline information, and we’ve organised a Stand-down Event at our Newburn Facility as part of the Lighthouse Charity’s “Make it Visible” Campaign.
