Rainton Construction Triumphs at CECA North East Awards 2022

The Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA) North East Awards took place on Friday, 11 November, at Grand Hotel Gosforth Park, Newcastle. Rainton Construction is celebrating success after winning four categories and being Highly Commended in the Environmental category.

MGL Group Chairman Alan Davison received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding contribution to the civil engineering profession and the wider construction industry.

Megan Lambert was recognised as a young achiever in our industry; she won the Trainee Quantity Surveyor of the Year category.

Rainton Construction won Subcontractor of the Year and Project of the Year (£1m-5m) for our role on the Wolsingham STW project. Our work ensured positive outcomes for the client, Northumbrian Water.

We were also Highly Commended for Environmental Company of the Year.

These awards are a true testament to the dedication and talent of the entire team across the whole organisation. We are incredibly proud of their hard work, expertise, and commitment to excellence.
