Rainton Construction won five awards at the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA) North East Awards, and this was a fantastic achievement for both our business and the people involved.
It highlights our diverse capabilities and demonstrates the importance of having the right skillsets in-house to carry out the work to the highest possible standard.
Celebrating civil engineering success
Our collaboration with the global construction company, STRABAG, on the TBM Assembly & Launch Ramp project was a significant milestone. Winning two categories, Sub-contractor of the Year and Project of the Year (£1- 5m), for delivering this complex civil engineering project was a testament to our team’s expertise and innovation. This was not the first time we have been recognised by CECA, having previously won Project of the Year in 2015 for Raitnon Construction’s work at Freeman’s Reach, Durham.
Award-winning apprentices
Two rising stars, Eliott and Ellie, were crowned winners of the Apprentice of the Year and Trainee Quantity Surveyor of the Year categories. We foster a supportive and inclusive culture that strongly emphasises professional growth and development, and we are always excited to see young people progress in their careers.
Committed to sustainability
A key element of our company culture is the drive for a more environmentally conscious industry. Winning Environmental Company of the Year demonstrates our commitment to addressing environmental issues for a more sustainable future.
Thank you to the organisers for a fantastic evening. Well done to all the finalists, and congratulations to the winners!
