School-aged students can experience the exciting world of construction. While on-site work may not be possible, we’ll introduce you to the industry through shadowing different departments and hands-on activities to build transferable skills. University students can gain real-world experience by contributing to transformative projects and learning from experienced professionals. Our work placements complement academic studies and prepare you for a successful career in the construction industry.

Adam took a year out to gain valuable work experience with our Site Engineers before returning to finish his final year at Northumbria University. This undergraduate placement was a fantastic opportunity to gain skills, knowledge, and professional development.
During his week-long placement, Calvin shadowed various departments to learn more about the business and the opportunities we can offer.
Jack shadowed our site engineers and helped with setting out and quality control. Work experience allowed him to understand more about the industry, and he was interested in progressing his career in construction.
