The MGL Demolition team at Pilgrim’s Quarter is playing a pivotal role in clearing the way for the development of Newcastle City Centre.
Team MGL has received positive feedback following a Site Environmental Inspection. Bowmer + Kirkland has also recognised the site team with a safety award for their fantastic efforts throughout the project.
High-reach demolition is underway as part of the final phase of the remote demolition of Carliol House. The Grade II-listed façade will be retained. Dex Car Park, Commercial Union House, and Bamburgh House have already been demolished.
The new regional hub for HMRC will be home to around 9,000 staff.
