Stress Awareness Month has been held every April since 1992 to increase public awareness about the causes and cures of the modern stress epidemic. This year, the focus is on tips and coping strategies to help manage mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.
Everyone sometimes feels stressed, especially when dealing with change or life challenges. How we manage stress can make a big difference to our mental wellbeing, and the first step to managing it is to know how it affects us and why.
Talking about stress and its effects and opening up about our mental and emotional state with friends, families, colleagues, and professionals can help us to act now and make managing stress a priority.
