Gateshead College’s annual Apprenticeship Edge Awards recognise apprentices and their employers for their dedication and commitment. As part of National Apprenticeship Week, college representatives travelled across the region to surprise and present the awards to apprentices in their places of work.
Our apprentice, Jay, was nominated by his tutor and won an award. He is currently undertaking his Level 3 Heavy Vehicle and Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship and is based at our Newburn facility near Newcastle.
We’re proud of this fantastic achievement and delighted that Jay has been recognised for his hard work. We will continue to support Jay’s learning and development and we can’t wait to see what the future holds!
