Supporting the Cheesy Waffles's Trip to the Seaside

MGL Group was delighted to support another fun-filled day at the seaside for our friends at the Cheesy Waffles Project (CWP), a registered charity for children, young people and adults with additional needs across County Durham.

Members enjoyed bowling, the amusements, and a delicious lunch at The Dunes, a Family Entertainment Centre in South Shields. Ten-pin bowling was provided by The Dunes Bowl, and meals and refreshments were provided by MGL Group. Attendees finished the day with an ice cream and fun on the beach!

All members learn new skills by participating in activities that will help them transition into adulthood and promote self-awareness and independence. Although the project is predominantly for people with learning disabilities, everyone is welcome to attend.

We hope everyone had a fantastic time and enjoyed their summer day out; it’s always a pleasure to support CWP, th charity works within the local community to support cohesion and raise disability awareness through positive events and programmes.
