MGL Group Welcomes Work Experience Students

MGL Group recently welcomed two work-experience students, Alfie and Calvin, to join us, develop their skills and learn about a career in construction. Construction is a diverse sector that offers a variety of job opportunities. We want to support and encourage new entrants into our industry and show them the wide variety of roles available.

Alfie undertook a week-long work experience with Rainton Construction. He learned about the type of work we undertake and the clients we work with. Calvin spent the week working at our Durham headquarters. He had the opportunity to shadow various departments to learn more about the business and the career opportunities we can offer. He also spent time with Emily, our Trainee Quantity Surveyor, and Adam, a work placement student studying at Northumbria university.

Thank you to everyone who made it meaningful and enjoyable. Our dedicated teams’ skills, knowledge, and experience are essential for supporting and mentoring young people who want to establish careers in our industry.
