A monumental day for Teesside

The ground-breaking ceremony of SeAH Wind’s new £400 million monopile manufacturing facility took place at Teesworks. This will be the world’s largest monopile factory.

The mammoth facility, standing 40m tall and 800m long, will be based in the heart of the Teesside Freeport and will produce between 100 and 150 extra-large monopiles each year. When fully operational, it will create 1,500 supply chain jobs and 750 further roles.

Rainton Construction and MGL Earthworks are absolutely delighted to be part of this project.
