The MGL Demolition team is working collaboratively with Thirteen Group to safely and effectively demolish Anson House and Hudson House, enabling the construction of 37 new homes.

We are currently on site in Thornaby to clear the two high-rise buildings and make way for new homes. The demolition team has undertaken a soft strip of the fixtures and fittings from the buildings, and we have started dismantling the building using a high-reaching machine.

This is an important project that will transform the area. Establishing strong communication links has been an important element of this scheme. To ensure we deliver value to local people beyond the core demolition services, we have liaised with a nearby primary school to deliver a safety talk and donated items for their construction play area.
