MGL Demolition Proudly Supports South Shields Regeneration

MGL Demolition is excited to be involved in the regeneration of South Shields town centre, working alongside South Tyneside Council. Our demolition work is paving the way for a more vibrant and dynamic town centre for the community.

We are helping to clear the way for further development, including more housing and leisure opportunities, improved walking and cycling links, and public art. This project is about creating a thriving, accessible town centre for everyone.

Beyond the demolition itself, we’re committed to preserving South Shields’ history. Our team discovered some original items while working on the former Avenue Bar and Buffet. We’re proud to have passed these on to the South Shields Museum, where the community can enjoy and appreciate them for years to come.
