Showcasing Sustainable Solutions at the Smart Construction Exhibition

At the recent Constructing Excellence in the North East Smart Construction conference and exhibition, we highlighted our innovative asphalt materials, demonstrating our commitment to sustainable construction. Our experts, Dave Whitehouse, Head of Research & Product Development, and Will Slack, Head of Technical, discussed how our solutions paving the way to Net Zero.

This included Plastipave, our innovative material incorporating recycled rubber and single-use plastic waste, providing a valuable solution for reducing environmental impact.

In partnership with Durham County Council and Low Carbon Materials, we successfully pioneered the first Net Zero scheme in County Durham. This project set a new benchmark for sustainable construction, demonstrating our ability to deliver environmentally responsible solutions while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Safety remains paramount in our work. Our Hazigrip® anti-skid asphalt technology enhances road safety by alerting drivers to junctions and skid-prone areas. With its superior skid resistance, Hazigrip helps to reduce the risk of accidents, particularly in high-risk areas.
