Tynedale Roadstone is hosting eight work experience students at our Barton plant in partnership with Durham County Council.
This exciting opportunity provides a firsthand look at our innovative materials and projects, including the pioneering development of net zero asphalt in collaboration with the council and Low Carbon Materials (LCM). This was laid at Elvet Hill Road in Durham City and was the first-of-its-kind scheme in County Durham.
Our work experience students are getting a unique glimpse into the future of asphalt production. They’re learning about our latest technologies and processes, including how we’re working towards a more sustainable future.
At MGL Group, we believe in investing in the next generation of construction professionals. Our work experience programmes offer opportunities for young people to develop practical skills, gain industry insights, and explore exciting career paths within the construction sector.
