World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) is a global awareness day. It takes place on March 21st, which signifies the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome, which causes Down syndrome.
WDSD is an opportunity to learn more, celebrate the achievements of people with Down syndrome, and advocate for their inclusion in society.
Led by David, our HGV Driver, colleagues from our Newburn and Durham offices donned blue to show their support and raise awareness. David’s son also joined in, proudly sporting a matching blue T-shirt!
Thank you to David’s wife, Katrina, for sharing this fantastic picture!
