MGL Earthworks Supports VolkerStevin on Exciting Project in Sunderland

MGL Earthworks is working with VolkerStevin on the New Wear Footbridge project in Sunderland. Our scope of works includes site clearance, contamination assessments, bulk earthworks, and creating working platforms.

The impressive 10m wide, 30m high footbridge will connect both sides of the Wear river, providing access for pedestrians and cyclists.

We are proud to be part of an exciting project, this structure is a key element of the Riverside Sunderland Masterplan, enhancing connectivity between the city centre and Sheepfolds area.
