MGL Foundation Trust Donates £2,000 to Support Families of Sick Children

As part of our commitment to supporting worthy causes, MGL Foundation Trust recently donated £2000 to The Sick Children’s Trust. This incredible charity provides a vital service to families of sick children.

The charity gives families with sick children in hospital one less thing to worry about by providing them with a place to stay together. We were made aware of this fantastic charity and its incredible work through a Team MGL member whose grandchild has been staying in a ‘Home from Home’ while being treated at the Freeman Hospital.

These facilities offer more than just accommodation – they provide a safe haven where families can stay together and take respite from the stress and worry surrounding their child’s illness. The dedicated staff go above and beyond in creating welcoming communal areas where parents can connect with others going through similar experiences. They are always on hand for emotional support or simply as someone to discuss things with.

The charity has supported over 75,000 families since 1982, and we hope this donation will enable it to continue helping families during an incredibly difficult time.
