New tools for the children in Newcastle

MGL Demolition carried out demolition and asbestos removal at Henderson Hall, Newcastle upon Tyne as part of the Newcastle University Buildings Improvement Programme. To ensure value beyond our core services and positively impact the local community, we donated new gardening tools to the local project next door.

Wor Lotty, in association with Food Nation in Heaton, provides a range of educational programmes suitable for children of all ages and abilities, including cooking, food growing, and good nutrition workshops. The produce is also used in the local Harissa Kitchen menu and food education projects.

The tools will not only help local school children to plant, grow, and harvest produce, but also provide them with an opportunity to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air, making their learning experience more enjoyable and engaging.
