Festival of Remembrance at Durham Cathedral

The Festival of Remembrance, the largest event of its kind outside the Royal Albert Hall, took place at Durham Cathedral on Saturday, November 12. It is an evening of commemoration, music, and spoken word.

The annual event provides a space for reflection, gratitude, and respect for those who have served and sacrificed. All profits from this concert go to ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, the national charity of the British Army, to help their work in support of soldiers, veterans, and their families.

It culminated with thousands of poppies falling silently from the Cathedral’s central tower, which MGL Group was proud to sponsor again.

The festival raises money for an excellent cause and brings together the community to remember the extraordinary actions of those who serve our country.
